Conconully Washington is one of Okanogan County's favorite and most popular destinations for people with outdoor recreation in mind. There are 8 GREAT fishing lakes, and a few fine fishing streams in the area. Hunting, Fishing, Boating, water skiing, cross country snow skiing, snowmobiling, horse back riding, hiking, climbing, camping, sight seeing, photography, rock hounding, RV-ing, swimming or just simply sunbathing and relaxing. You name it, Conconully has you covered!

Hiking around Conconully
Sugarloaf Trail
From Conconully turn right on to Okanogan County Road 4015 travel north for 5 miles past Conconully Lake to Sugarloaf Campground.
Schalow Trail
From Conconully head north on Okanogan County Road 2361, turn right onto County Road 4015, and drive about 5 miles, past Conconully Lake, to Sugarloaf Lake and Campground.
Smarty Creek Trail
From Conconully take Okanogan County Road 2017 southwest, around the reservoir, to the junction with Forest Service Road 37. Turn right on FS Road 37 and continue.
Shew Creek Trail
From Conconully take Okanogan County Road 2017 southwest, around the reservoir, to the junction with Forest Service Road 37. Turn right onto FS Road 37 and travel.
Golden Stairway Trail
From Conconully turn left at the junction of Conconully State Park on Okanogan County Road 2017 travel 2 miles. The road branches to Forest Service Road 42 and Forest
Angel Pass Trail
From Conconully drive past the Forest Service work center on Okanogan County Road 2361, which joins Forest Service Road 38, for 9 miles to Salmon Meadows Campground

Northside Access: From Conconully take Okanogan County Road 2017 around the reservoir. At about 3 miles Forest Service Road 37 takes off to the right and Forest Service

Conconully area Fishing
Conconully Lake (Conconully) 313 acres. Rainbow trout. Public launch site.

Conconully Reservoir (Conconully) 450 acres. Rainbow trout and kokanee. Public launch site from State Park.

Blue Lake 
Located in the Lime Belt north of Omak, Blue Lake is open April 29 to Oct. 31. This 14-acre lake has been planted over the years with eastern brook and tiger trout. Located 6.5 miles northwest of Riverside, the lake is four miles off the Conconully Highway (watch for the public fishing sign) over a dirt road. Spring rains can make the road impassable. Although there is no boat ramp, anglers can carry canoes or small rowboats to the lake at the south end. Walk-in only. Float tubes or canoes.
Fish Lake
Expect rainbow trout averaging 10 to 11 inches
Two public access areas with launches and toilets are provided. Fish Lake is about 4-1/2 miles northeast of Conconully. Open season is from the last Saturday in April through September 30. 102 acres. Rainbow trout. Public launch sites, camping.
Sugarloaf Lake
Eastern brook trout. Camping spots available.
Anglers can reach the lake by traveling either 4.5 miles northeast on a dirt road from Conconully past the upper lake and Sugarloaf Lake or going north on Highway 97 for 5.5 miles from Riverside, then west on Pine Creek Road for approximately nine miles. Two public access areas with launches and toilets are available.
